Keno

Keno is a Unique ancient Chinese game that has weaved itself into the Casino world. It is said that Chinese immigrant workers introduced the game to the United States in the years of the trans-continental railroad construction. It is regarded as a game of pure luck and thus has ties to Bingo and the different forms of lottery games. Players in the online world should know that the game of Keno has one of the highest house edges and is therefore regarded as a game of ‘luck’ rather than a game of ‘skill,’ just as any national lottery. If one has gusto in winning big with small odds at play, then this is surely the game to try out. Keno is a simple game that can be easily mastered by any online casino player.

How it works

In the online world, players place a bet on a scorecard marked with the numbers 1-80. The player chooses from 1 – 15 numbers and marks them anywhere along the 80 numbers of the ticket. The 80 numbers on the ticket are plotted on an 8 line 10 number grid system. After the player has chosen between 1 and 15 numbers and marked them, 20 numbered keno balls are drawn at random from a spinning barrel which consists of 80 numbered balls. The amount of attained numbers by the player is electronically highlighted and a payout is rewarded. The more numbers the player marks, the more payout rewarded – if the numbers match of course. If a player wishes, he/she can mark 1 number in the entire grid and hope that one of the numbers drawn matches the number marked. This will pay 3 to 1, e.g. $300 win on a $100 bet. On the other side of the spectrum, a player can mark the maximum number of 15. Here the house will pay 10000 to 1 if all the numbers match. This is where the game becomes interesting – if the first few numbers drawn match, the game becomes a thrilling affair where the player anticipates the coming of the next numbers as the odds enter a protuberant realm of promising riches.

Any Tips?!

As far as tips for Keno go… there aren’t any. There are no systems except personalized or subjectively driven ones. The numbers that are drawn from the cask are entirely random with no likelihood to break the algorithm. There are no rules or patterns that a player can adhere to. If a number is drawn 8 times in a row, it does not mean that it won’t be drawn for another 8 or never again! Nonetheless, the game is wholly entertaining and interactive as many Keno players believe that there may be Fait involved here… Perhaps they’re right.
